dogshit is right, the V8buick site is your answer. You can probably find a good running 350 from someone on that board really cheap (all things considered) Theres several guys from the valley on the site, and thats where TA Performance is located. Go to the V8 Regal section of the board there...

You can brace the frame to help make it ridged. I ran a tube across and thru the frame rails and welded it on both sides. Similar to a pickup truck frame. Once all the exhaust is run I'm going to add more bracing to the upper and lower control arms. Thats where your stress is. I'm also tubbing...

I just bought a clean 87 GP for a driver. Is the headliner the same as my GN? It needs a new one.

The chevys an easy swap but why put a chevy in a Buick. V8 Buicks make sick power, plus its cool. The big block is a little more complicated but not bad. Either way, I would keep it Buick powered...
