Back in high school I had a 80 z28 with a mild 355 with gear drive.every where I went people always asked it it was pro charged.
I have a gear drive set up in the garage going in my small block for the regal.
Nothing beats the sound of a lumpy cam and gear drive
i used a big 4in blade just to cut plastic,couldnt get 1 or 2 bolts but pressed on the plastic and it broke.once i got the wheel well out i removed the bolts. they were big and thats why i cut them

if your NOT reuseing them. i unbolted as many bolts i could get to, 10 mm and 13mm. i cut the wheel well in half with a sawzall then pushed down on the rear(twords fire wall)then the plastic broke around the 1 bolt i couldnt get with the nose on. took 20...

if your keeping the 307. you need a vac advance dist if the computer been removed. and i think you may need to wire up the tcc to a relay so you get o/d, i could be wrong on the tcc
i wanna swap a sbc into my regal that has a 307. im also swaping over a monte ss interior and dash. do i need the ecu for the gauges to work? or can i just bypass that and put a vac advance dist. in? both the regal and donor ss are 86's.i saved all the wiring from the monte.

im swapping a 86 monte ss gut into my 86 regal. i like the fact that it has oil pres,tac,batt in the cluster. no gauges mounted to pillar to atract un needed attn.and it looks stock
