I have an idea that might work? It involves you, your wife, and that back seat! But we can not discus it here. It probably needs to be done anyways!
Thanks James. I never said where it came from, and likely never will unfortunately. Some things are just meant to be limited. In all fairness though, the guy that made them is shutting down shop...and now I see why.Scott, where did you get the rear upholstery from? I may have missed it, as I was getting caught up on your progress. The dash looks really good... carbon fiber, Olds rocket logos 👍. Kudos to Mike for coming thru again. Helping a fellow Member... gotta love that guy!

I knew ahead of time it would take longer than a month to get them from time of order, and he expressed having issues with impatient people wanting there money back. He would get halfway into a job and have to abort to do a refund. I get it, was patient too. Asked him one question throughout the wait time on advice once the covers showed up and he frickin blew a gasket! "Dude chill, I'm not in a rush just had a question!" Said person is also notoriously hard to reach via email. No phone listed either. I emailed him a week ago and still haven't received a reply.
So, yep, there's that James. Not trying to be rash about it, but now that I have my goods I wouldn't recommend him anyways.
Sounds a whole lot like my experience with GSI when trying to replace my dash bezel, which is why I decided to just do it myself. I wasn't in a rush so when he told me I had to pay to ship the material he would need to do the blue I wanted I decided to wait a few months figuring at some point he would then get it in because it was just the stock blue color. I message him again 6 months later and he looses his mind on me, acted like I was crazy for thinking it is very strange for a customer to have to pay for shipping on a stock color. In the end I was glad that I ended up doing it myself so it is something different
Well, I had a pretty good idea of where the seat upholstery came from, but was hoping for a different source. Unfortunately, I had a very similar experience with that guy. In the beginning he was responsive ( this was 4 years ago ), and after I received my rear upholstery, I wanted him to do some custom custom door panels for me. I sent the panels, and after it took more time than he said, I asked a question about delivery time ( I wanted to have them before a certain car show date ) Just like your experience, he lost his mind, and sent my stuff back... unfinished! Once I had my stuff back. I unloaded on that MF'r.Thanks James. I never said where it came from, and likely never will unfortunately. Some things are just meant to be limited. Wow, yep those are them and he is a lunatic! I also originally wanted some custom door panels when I ordered the seat material. He told me he wasn't gonna do door panels anymore, then like 3 or 4 weeks later he emailed me and wanted to know if I was ready to ship them out. Like, dude wtf you just told me you weren't gonna do anymore! I didn't have the funds ready so just told him don't worry about it.Well, I had a pretty good idea of where the seat upholstery came from, but was hoping for a different source. I'm hoping your friend can work on getting you a better fit. Possibly adding a 1" piece of foam across the the entire upper seat, and reinstalling the covers.
