Alrighty, been a long day, but made some progress. Had to part for my family xmas party for the evening, but once we got home I got right to installing the rear seat covers.
I definitely ain't no pro, and ended up with a few wrinkles on the backrest. However it is 32 year old foam. I plan on talking to a buddy of mine that used to do upholstery repairs and see what he can do for me.
Also, installing hog rings suck for the most part, I wasted at least a couple dozen just screwing up lol! I'm really happy with how it looks, and once the door panels are done the interior will be tied together!
Here are the covers.....

And installed into the car. There just sitting there until I figure out what to do about the wrinkles...

I've been waiting on these for a couple months, actually been wanting these for a few years, just waiting for the right time. Any and all feedback is welcome.

Sure looks nice , wish I could help with wrinkles but don't have a answer for that one.

Can't you rent one of those steamer things from Home Depot or similar place? That would keep you from accidently touching the material with a hot iron.

Not sure if the steam thing would work on that type of fabric. That passenger side wrinkle looks odd and pretty severe.

One of my pastors used to do upholstery, I'll see him shortly and get his advice.
The wrinkle on pass side is same on driver side, but the seatbelt unintentionally hid it in the pic.
After install I used the girls barbie house for a pic lol....

Hmm. It simply appears that the bottom of the material running down the outside ends tends to get wider at the bottom. There's no way to pull that outward at the bottom? I'm not an upholstery expert, but something doesn't look to be sewn exactly right to me. Pay no attention, I'm simply speculating.

Fed up delayed my package a day for some unknown reason, but I just picked it up. A little teaser.....View attachment 131384

On the news last night said that Fed Ex is only getting 68% of packages delivered on time, which of course is who I am supposed to get my moms Christmas present from today:blam:
