I guess also Jim alot of time has been spent getting my buddies LSA swapped Monte Carlo running! That thing is a wild azz ride with the 6 speed and umi suspension! He's running prolly 615hp before e85!!!!

Quick update. Yesterday I had the wife help me swap back to the aftermarket booster. I'm guessing the stocker is past its time because the brakes are actually better now than they were before which is weird.
However, the stock booster is 35 years old and has been sitting for 10 years. Went for a test drive and it's doing good. Stopped for some 93 and it turned into a 20min ordeal as the Cutlass draws attention lol. Its cool talking to car guys that appreciate the work put into these cars. That's it for now, back to enjoying it.

Here is the LS fest post. In short, that event is awesome! The Cutlass made it 300 miles round trip hiccup free other than the shimmy at 70+ issue along with Cory's Monte which has had its fair share of issues the past month! He got to park UMI Sales booth which great exposure for both since we did the blower swap. For both our cars to make it like they did was a huge accomishment! Shoutout again to Mike for nailing the tune on mine, dang AFR's stayed at 1.01 lambda the whole trip, averaged 16-17mpg too.
Friday was my birthday and I was gifted a photoshoot for Nitto Tire by pure luck of being in the right place right time. So many badass rides there, can't wait to go back. Its photodump time since cell service was garbage there....

Great car and very nice pics! Thanks for posting. I've got a question for you regarding your hood hinges. Are they custom or off-the-shelf? Sorry if I missed that in your build, but I've been looking to change my original hood springs and these look very nice. Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

They are modified regal hinges. The strut mount was welded to the upper hinge itself and finished to look as one piece. Then the struts were built to spec for the proper strength for the glass hood. When I get home I'll get you some specs.
