Thanks for checkin back fam!! Feelin confident about puttin in work on the old ride now. I was stuck in that VW mindset. Break a part on a Dub and there goes $400!! These old schools are alot easier to deal with, as well as easier on the pockets. Waiting on my rear trailing arms to come and then I can install em along with my airbag kit. Im lovin it bruh!!! 😀 Im shooting my driveshaft up to the shop in the morning for the cut down, weld and balance. Then Its off to get polished up. Imma paint up the ends (YOLK/U JOINT) black so it looks like the shaft is floatin there. Here's a few picS of it after I pulled it out. This barely weighs anything....

Thanks for lookin!

Thanks for swingin thru and checkin the thread out bruh. Im feelin confident on doin a few things myself. There's so much info on here and other sites to help a brotha out! LOL! Yeah the Mali wag sweet. There's a nice ups brown (I think) wag on air floatin around the boards. I'll see if I can find the link for that one for you. Its really clean...

Picked the driveshaft up and went to install it. Still too long. I went off of a buds suggestion of cutting the alum setup an inch. The driveline shop didnt want to cut and weld the aluminum one. So he measured it and used a steel one he had layin around. What I should have done was measure from the rear seal of the trans up to the centerline of the hookup on the rearend. My boy feels bad but I was gonna measure it and didnt. Live and learn... :blam: .Wont be able to drop it off until Thursday and get it back on friday.....

Thanks for checkin it out..
