Well it turns out the ebay projector lights I got for Christmas were bleeding power over to the high beams. :wtf: I switched back to sealed beams and the lights work like they should.

those projector lites were probably another junk chinese product. I have the hella conversion lenses, they work great and lay down a nice beam and have never had a problem so I always recommend them.

Well I got curious about this whole shorting issue, so I took the bulbs out of the projectors. Both were blown, and yes, the bulb in the picture is melted. I don't know how that is really possible, but it happened. HID stuff is on the way now :D

After a lot of waiting for parts and running a bunch of wires, I got my HIDs in! I went for a test drive at midnight and the difference was amazing. I could see better and farther on low beams than I ever could on high with sealed beams. High beams are almost too bright, but I'll get used to it I guess. If you're thinking about HIDs, just get them. You won't be disappointed. I'll post pics tomorrow hopefully

For the outside, you need an H4 style projector housing and a bi-xenon HID kit. Those have a shield around the bulb that moves the beam direction when you go from hi to low beam. Like these:http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5335822911&icep_item=291129742617 and http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5335822911&icep_item=191129731231 Hope this helps

Sweet, Yea i come across them same ones an wasn't sure if they were what i needed or not,They do have the 3 post plug in connector RIGHT ? The bulbs that i have, had the shields but i took it off cause they left a bad glare, now there no were near as bad.
I got these in mind ,2 different type of housing ? yea i like to be different :D Not sure how there going to look side by side but i like how they have the amber lights,an yea they just look like there black,There really not, that's just the reflections

Yes, they have the 3 post plug. I mounted my ballasts to the air tunnel. I'll post pics tonight if I get a chance.
