Wanting to use a Champion Radiator to replace the original (now green) radiator. Engine soon to be rebuilt.

Are the Champion radiators a good overall fit for G-body's? I'm thinking my original radiator is a 3-row, but perhaps a 2-row Champion wold cool better?

How do Champion radiators fit in the factory core supports? No problems/modification with the top plate/bushings/etc.?

Here is mine in my Regal, there were no mods to make it fit but the inlet and outlet were larger than my stock 307 hoses so I had to go with a larger hose on each.
I have Intrepid fans for when I do the engine swap and will install those at that time.

This is the exact application. It's too bad stock hoses won't work.

I think both were a 1/4" too small, the factory outlets are actually downsized from a typical application and for me my plan was new hoses anyways.

For Olds 307 here are the part numbers I used which are both made by Dayco, upper hose 70548 and lower hose 70936.

These should be the hoses I have in the parts collection. Thanks.

Was undecided about whether to go with a 2-row or 3-row. Should be good either way.

My Champion 3 core fit fine and was just passable with a 403, 195 to 210 with a 160 thermostat. The 2 core with 1" tubes is similar in price and will out cool the 3 core.
