Decent Oil leak

Dimpling might help. It is the amount of RTV needed. I have actually had to go back and touch where I didn't put enough. You want the beads tall, not wide. The BBO will even be worse, an even wider intake.

Well, I think the dye is leaking out

Well...looks like the valve cover on the driver side has a slight leak around the bolts. But the passenger side looks bad. I haven't jacked the car up to get underneath it 100%. But there's faint green trails that go down the pass side. And pass side header and bottom of oil pan has green. Hopefully that's all from the valve cover

After getting underneath it, looks like it's coming from the passenger side valve cover by the firewall. I guess I have to do that again. I used rubber gasket, should I have used cork? This time I will by the cover hold downs too

Called advanced auto to see if they had enough of the ones I need on the shelf. 1st thing he asks "what's the year make and model?"..........i hung up. Guess I will have to stop at 2 different part stores to have enough for all the bolts

Did you use any permatex?

No. I applied small amount of rtv silicone to hold the gasket to the cover so it wouldn't fall when I put it on
