My other 2 cars are 2 and 3 years old.Yo 16 years ago Optima batteries were great but nowadays they are not the same
I blame the manufacturer for selling defective batteries they supposed to check them before shipping
Now was the Optima used to replace another battery?I have a Optima Red Top battery which I bought in 2016 if I leave the battery in the car hooked it will not crank so I charged the battery that ran the car unhook the battery and now when I go to crank it after a couple of weeks I gets nothing but a click but I can jump the battery right off and it runs
No, I am wondering if there is a voltage draw that is killing any battery that is installed. So are you saying it's the alternator the older battery will sit more than the Optima and crank
