Our 79 Monte Carlo- Pro Touring Project

Whats new with the 79 Monte Carlo? Long time,,,,no hear! I heard UMI was working on a Watts link for the G-body (any comment?). Have you thought about trying the UniSteer rack & pinion? Have you any feed back on the new smaller dia. (autocross) rear sway bar? ... Just curious.

A Delphi 600 box has a servo, instead of a recirculating ball, that gives you rack and pinion in a box that fits the G body with no modifications. I have one and there is nothing like it

Great video to watch with my morning coffee. You have the car nicely set up, not too much work with the steering wheel even on that bumpy course. The car sounds fabulous and didn't miss a beat....congratulations...🙂

Here's a different session.

Need to set spot metering on the camera to reduce glare.

These laps are at 1:08 which is pretty fast for a sedan at Pitt Race. And really fast for an avocado green grandma grocery getter...

This weekend the Green Machine had some fun at a bit of a slower pace than usual.

My dad and I attended a charity cruise to support a local car guy. 75 cars, sunny day, awesome countryside cruise, time with my dad and so forth.

We have one final event this year, All American Sunday auto-x at Good Guys Charlotte.
