Our 79 Monte Carlo- Pro Touring Project

Regarding the downforce have you altered the bracket for the upper control arms so you can use equal length control arms? As you are aware the position of the bracket for the upper control arms is set up for an anti dive front suspension which is not what you want when trying to plant the front for cornering.

We haven't gotten that far yet but have enough adjustability built into the Green Machine to compensate when the time comes...

We recently ran Optima Ultimate at New Jersey Motorsports Park. This is the fastest straight we've ever run, as the final corner exit dumps you onto the straight at about 85 mph. The green car pulled 7000 in high gear entering turn one. Right about 138 mph.

Finally caught you on the Optima Series tonight. Was that the UMI LeMans running there too? I never saw it but just saw it listed.

Lemans????? What year?

VERY brief interview with Ramey and pic of the Green Machine which was BRIEFLY cool! Of course, when it's Optima Series sponsored by Detroit Speed and Falken Tire . . . naturally the Green Machine isn't going to get much love there.

I'd like to go play down in Texas next spring but running XS batteries, UMI suspension, and Bridgestone tires . . . I may not get in?

Just love to get on that track, bucket list thing, if nothing else . . .

EDIT: Maybe I should focus on actually driving my 442 again period, first? . . . details, details details!

What was the reason for the front upper control arm design change?

And why are you using the old design on the Monte?
