BUILD THREAD Project Olds Cool (Recognition!!)

Dude! You're running at light speed compared to me. I love the brushed look!

Do you have to like clear coat that once it's been sanded?

But things like finding my rear end is toast, body bushings were shot etc. etc. etc. are all "unplanned" higher priced and/or much higher labor [for me anyway]. Even though my car looks new, that rubber is over 30 years old. So, no "body off" becomes a body off, though just enough to swap the bushings so then . . . while I've got it up, let's do some welding on the frame I really wanted to do anyway . . .
And the plot thickens . . .

Donovan,
you got a big thumbs up from me on the brushed look, as that is the direction I've been planning for all my chrome trim on the Regal (if I ever get back on it... the Chief, and a new addition are still taking it's time and effort away).

great work as always, and awesome thinking on your feet, to solve yet another issue!

Donovan, Absolute thumbs up. Incredible.

As said, they look amazing considering the condition they started out in. I agree the Rocket just looks the best in red, just pops more.

Donovan, they look fantastic! Different from the bright chrome, or the black out (like I did). The color scheme lends well to the brushed look, or the brushed look lends well to the color scheme. Haha, either way, I think its bad *ss.

No Hoarder's Lament - you made da lemonade. Great trick we will have to file in the collective knowledge base.

Awesome work as always Donovan. Thanks for showing us the detail in how you did it.
