Anyone know of an acceptable gold spray bomb paint type that would be good enough to paint the 403 going back into the '70? Something I could order online (like Amazon)?

Don't buy Duplicolor, terrible paint. I wanted something I could get local. I bought the VHT high temp black metallic for the accessories. I am going with this Gold. I did my 73 Oldsmobile valve covers. It goes on really nice and doesn't react like Duplicolor which is very thin and lifts any paint under it.

It is the Gold Flake Metallic. It really pops, much brighter than the Universal Gold.

Thorton Muscle cars has the closest gold around. Its the correct gold metallic thats way better than the run of the mill gold paint. Not sure how much its closer than the VHT though

It isn't close but most gold paint aren't. It is a very bright, almost semi gloss metallic, I like it. He is using an EGR manifold so he probably isn't dead set on matching the Olds factory Gold. This is what it looks like in person, shows better than my pic.
