Fitech that angry big block. No more bad manners, just smooth drivability with great performance. Like Ron Jeremy wearing a silk shirt.....

That would be fine and dandy, but have stopped and considered the cost. I could buy a nice stock g body for that. $1500 efi, $1000 torque converter, $1000 center section, $500 for other crap. I still have no back seat for kids either. I think I will just have wild (Nova) , and mild (Monte ). Wild for when I have a bad day, and mild for every thing else. Either way I am broke and need to get my Monte back together and running first.

Very small update. It has been very cold here in Iowa, so I don't really want to be outside. I received a package yesterday. I found the package was ripped open and one of my parts missing.

I emailed Gbody Parts about the missing part. The part I was missing is one of my two a/c line clamps. I would normally not be too upset, but I spent 25 bucks on these two clamps! Should have made my own, but I was trying to save some time.

I did get my valve covers breather put on though. I found the fill hole on my valve covers to be a little odd and not much for a option to cap it. If I would have known that before I painted them, I would have had a fitting or pipe welded to them. Trying to find a good fill tube has been harder than I thought so I brought a breather adapter. I think I will paint the breather crome blue to tone it down.

I think I am going to keep putting things together and when it gets warmer out side i can take it back apart and paint stuff later. I don't want the engine to look flashy. I want it to appear some what factory. That is it for now.

I did spend about a hour working on the car yesterday. It was -14 out there so didn't do much. I am trying to figure out how to get all this stuff mounted and make it fit, keep it dry, and make it look factory.

I made a template of the coil and ignition box. I moved the cardboard around trying to find a spot for it, but not much luck.

I really don't think I should put it by the charcoal box. I think it might get wet down there, restric my air filter (when I get one), and later I probably need a spot for meth injection tank. Don't really think the right inerfender is good, do to heat from the turbo and down pipe. Here is a picture of the space I have to work with.

I could use some ideas, if anyone has any. I really don't want it in the cab, but I guess that could be an option. What do you guy's think?

Could mount the ignition components inside the car somewhere under the dash. Keeps them clean and dry as well as out of sight. The catch can (?) Possibly make a bracket and attach it to the engine.

I would like to use the coil wire I have, so the coil needs to be close to the engine. That can is going to be my power steering reservoir. O and I want the interior to factory too, any gauges I mount will be hidden or blended in.

Move the charcoal canister down onto the frame rail, or in front of the core support to make room for the intake pipe/filter.

Next build a stand/platform and put the coil and ignition box behind the carb flange (similar to how a stock LC2 would).

I was thinking about that too, but with out the Tbi I have no idea how the brackets will sit or how much room I will have.
