I'll be damned, I guess I learned something new today. Good video.

Unfortunately it's not a stick. It just has a stick like a manual for an auto. Yes it is a old 80s eq. Looks like it even has a 3.5 jack on it. I hope it will work.
Thanks for the info and video, I think that is what I'm going to do.

Maybe it was when new.

iF YOU PULL THE STEERING WHEEL, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE LOCK PLATE. tHERE IS A TOOL MADE TO COMPRESS THE SPRING, BUT BACK IN MY TEEN DAYS BEFORE i OWNED SUCH LUXURIES, WE USED A CIRCULAR SAW BLADE AND A COUPLE OF SOCKETS TO COMPRESS IT. pULL THE SNAP RING, PULL THE PLATE OFF, AND VOILA! fREE-UP STEERING.

Sorry, just noticed the caps lock.....i'm not going to retype it all.

that's ok, I just had to turn down the volume when I read your post...😀

Well there's a hole already, no reason not to find a manual to fill it...

It may have been. I just went out and looked. It didn't look like there was another space for a peddle. But that would explain the small brake peddle. After looking st google for awhile. I'm almost positive it was a manual car.
I'm going to beat that old man if it was a 400 manual car, and he stuffed a 305 with a th350 in it. Lol

This car might be a good candidate to just clear over the paint and leave it crispy looking since there doesn't look like there is any major rust. I kinda dig how it looks now.🙂

No reason not to make it a 400/M21/22 car 😛
