3.8 2 barrel carb 3 speed stick

Now u just need a Pontiac 400 or bigger !!!

Chevy or Pontiac 350?

There's a couple pontiac 350s in seattle a days drive away from you. I'd make a weekend of it, or just scout your local salvage yards. 400s and 350s can be had for less than 100 bucks, depending on condition. With a car like this, it's not out of the ordinary that the P/O swapped out the 3.8/3spd for a 305/Th350 (easilly could've put in a 4 speed and Buick 350, but whatever 😛), but do consider at least looking for one. i mean, if it runs and drives as it is now (or if you can get it so), no reason to built a 350 chevy for it if you intend on ever swapping it out anyway. but in the end it's your car, do as you wish.

Well either way it an awesome car!!

When you get tired or fed up with it let me know!!!

I think you'll be suprised how well that "Agate Red" cleans up with some wax. Thats a pretty rare color, as are those tail lights.
I always thought it was odd the Lemans had no interior door pull straps. Also has the 1978 style dash. They dont hold up well at all. Love the car. Nice find.

iF YOU PULL THE STEERING WHEEL, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE LOCK PLATE. tHERE IS A TOOL MADE TO COMPRESS THE SPRING, BUT BACK IN MY TEEN DAYS BEFORE i OWNED SUCH LUXURIES, WE USED A CIRCULAR SAW BLADE AND A COUPLE OF SOCKETS TO COMPRESS IT. pULL THE SNAP RING, PULL THE PLATE OFF, AND VOILA! fREE-UP STEERING.

Sorry, just noticed the caps lock.....i'm not going to retype it all.
I thought TUNA had hijacked your account for a minute!
