Im in aurora il for training and will stop by The Parts Place and up some of their paint to try out.
Also, picked these up from a guy in mchenry il who parts out fbodies. He has a pile of the z code steering boxes. I'll make a seperate post for this.

just an update on the wheels i purchased. I'm in aurora il for toyota training and was able to check the rims for trueness on our wheel balancers. turns out one failed the test. so i call the gentleman i bought them from to see it he could exchange one rim or give my money back when i bring all 4 wheels to him. he said he had no other rims like that and he would only give back $300 of the $500 because he is a nice guy, doing the right thing.
DISAPOINTED!!!!!

so buyer beware if anyone is thinking of dealing with him.

My wife thinks I have a problem...The NOS Grill I bought on Ebay for an 1981 Malibu just showed up today. I know you can buy a repop but you just can't beat NOS stuff and they're near impossible to find. Funny thing is that I just bought an NOS grill and NOS head light bezels last year. You can't have too many! Lol "What if I hit a bird?" I told her.
And I just pulled the trigger on these NOS Poverty "Dog Dish" hub caps that came on the Iraqi Taxi.
