Yes they do make classic ones. Already scoped that out. Only spent $5 more for the pair of GM ones and they're definitely correct for my application. The ones below, are not, unfortunately. I think they may be for the 70s cars.

Picked up so cheapy engine mounts for the 403/Cutlass.

Man they are BAD

Not even close and the mount holes where they bolt to the engine are even drilled off center.

I opened up the holes a hair on the drill press, still a no go.

Went and ordered a not so cheapy set from Supercars Unlimited

Well yesterday, ordered some Moser 30 spline axles, quick perf forged 1350 pinion yoke, allstar C clips, then picked up some USA made wheel studs (thanks Turna on the PN).
Still deciding on which diff cover I want, and gotta rebuild the Cutty account to get the posi unit.

AFR eliminator race heads, new solid Comp Cams 600” lift/ 290” duration, high rise intake, 850cfm Holley and a 3800 stall converter. Heads that came on the motor were too small with 180-185cc intake runners and it choked out at 5,000rpms. Had to shift at 4900 rpms, ran 12.5’s. I can’t wait to actually get into and use the powerband. Easily gets to 7,000 rpms now it only need 64-6500 rpms which is the top of the powerband. All parts match the beginning and end of powerband. It’s a new motor which has woken up so to speak. Runs real easy. No choke and I can start it and walk away and it will just run. It’s a 383 Stroker backed by a TH400 w/3800 stall and ends with tiny rearend (7.5”) with 3.73 gears. Started with 4.56’s but due to low rpms I couldn’t get to the end of the track last year. 12.5 is with 3.73’. Oh and just picked up a 12 bolt posi with 4.88. It’s gonna be fun.

I bought a gen 4 truck intake...
I'm tired of dealing with these carb problems or possibility MSD problems. I've decided to just bite the bullet and make this thing EFI like its supposed to be.
Now I need to explain to the wife why our Trump Check is about to disappear...
