cleaned the head bolts/chased the threads.if i find the guy that put all that thread sealer on them...
small block chevy motor? if so, thread sealer is mandatory to prevent coolant from leaking out of the head bolts. head bolts thread into an open block deck with the coolant passages in the block. they are not blind holes, like main bearing caps.
