I like the "stance" of the car. Any info on tire size, springs, or is that a shadowdonkey secrete?
I don't like the clearance I got with the oil pan i chose. The higher the better..

Front springs are stock, rears are Malibu wagon for a full option car with ac. At the time of the pic in my profile, front tires were 205/75/14. Rear was 245/60/15. Will probably change though once the project get closer to done.

So today I FINALLY figured out why my speedo was out. The brand new cable somehow got too close to the EFE valve. I had it tie-wrapped and sleeved with some hose but it all got loose and melted and locked up. So I ran my old Malibu cable in it's place but I hope the driven gear isn't broken too, I'll have to wait to find out. Why? I figured I would change some dash cluster bulbs while I had it out and so I jammed the door open with a block of wood so the courtesy lights wouldn't get too hot and burn up. All went well until I was buttoning up and I bumped the door, crushing the door jamb switch. Grrrrrr. So I taped the hot wire up and gently closed the door while I track down a new jamb switch. Ahhh, old cars.....UPDATE: RockAuto had 1 left of the all-metal AC Delco switch for station wagons. WOWSERS!

Updated update. Looks like the driven gear is toast. Crap, that is a hard one to find, has the fewest teeth of all. :evil:

Went out in the garage and checked the battery tender, Then I turned around and went back in the house because it was 118 degrees out there.
