I replaced the 3 rca's for the sound system and fixed the light in my tach, I don't use a speedo so my tach tells me my speed and at night I'm just guessing.....,
I have that same issue, but I'm too lazy if I'm gonna spend the time wiring it up then I would be putting in the Dakota gauges

I think changing the light bulb in my tach is slightly less expensive and somewhat easier than doing that conversion. I'm not sure if you are too lazy to do a little wiring for a light how are you going to get motivated to wire up the Dakota gauges...😀

If I was to put a speedo in my GP it would be the GPS speedo from SpeedHut

Speed Hut has nice stuff, was looking at them when I did the Monaro gauges on my GTO

i downloaded a heads up display ap on my phone. throw it on my dash at night, and it reflects off the windshield. works great.

took the trip to Orangeville to pick up a Monte SS ps box. My Borgeson box is acting funny, feels like the inlet valve is sticking open at times and the steering become erratic. I had sent an email to Borgeson asking about a rebuild kit but they never got back to me so when I open the Borgeson box and it needs parts I don't want to be stuck without a ps box so I bought the Monte SS box just in case.

I've been doing absolutely nothing for about a month. I'd like to be doing some upgrades on either of my cars, but I'm just not motivated. It's hot; it's muggy; and all the car cruises have low turnouts. However, I did do a little something today. My turbo buick Elky started making a noise about a month ago, like a bicycle siren when going to WOT. Just when you get into significant boost it screams. Decided to take a look at the turbine blades today and found some damage. I found a piece of plastic broken off my MAF sensor and apparently that half inch by half inch piece of hard plastic flew into the compressor side of my turbo and did the damage. So far, there is no affect on performance, so I'm just going to go with it until it shows signs of self destruction.

Hope you have a intercooler to help stop the srapmetal! When it does go make sure you change the air filter or at least check it. I have seen a lot of new turbos go out on diesels because they don't change the air filter.

I drove mine to work again today. It seemed to run a lot better today than yesterday and used less oil than normal. A/C and cruise worked good too. I think my turbo seal is bad and that is why it uses a lot of oil and runs rougher after sitting for days. I just want to get through the summer and I am going to change all that.
