I got my corner lights polished, taped off, and painted the trim area to get them back to "stock" looking form.

I like that idea alot!!! Quick word of advice if you haven't considered it...after painting the blue, clear the whole valve cover with engine enamel clear. That will protect the polished fins from dulling.
Well it is your fault. All that polishing you have been doing, must have inspired me. Good advice on the clear coating. I don't want much shiny stuff under the hood. I want it to look some what factory. I think I am going to paint my intake blue too, even though it is powder coated silver.

:rofl:....i will only take partial credit! Alot of the other guys inspired me to get my *ss in gear and get some stuff done!!!

I'm taking the same approach this time around with the LS swap. Alot of charcoal and black, with little touches of shiny here and there. I like your thought of painting the intake to match...check out Donovan's "olds cool". He did that with the sbc and it looks very stock and factory appearing, that is until the fire is put into it.

Well yesterday I bought a welder to mount to the square body and ripped the carb back off the 78 to rebuild it today I'm macking the trec to tractor supply for lead connectors. Then it's all about Lauren she is 11 tomorrow and I'm giving her the H/O shirt I got her today and will just do whatever she wants

worked on turning swiss cheese into american cheese again...

I just finished installing the door panels I made and wiring up the speakers.
