What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

I pulled the monte out of my flooded driveway I have now after the recent flood. I had about 6 inches of water inside of it and it sat like that for 2 days since I was away 😢 Time for new carpet, seats and probly floors! **** my life!!!

I doubt the floors could rot away in 2 days You should be able to just take everything out and let it dry really good. My Regal windshield use to leak very bad when it rained and it would puddle up in the seat floor. The carpet and everything is still in good shape and there isn't 1 spot of rust on the floor

finished installing a ford 9" ...drive shaft with new u-joints ...drive shaft safety loop..new springs and shocks... almost finished rear disk brake install (just need to plumb the hard line) ...need to fab something for the shocks nothing to mount them to the new rear end. still have the whole front to do...it never ends.

Yea I was a little pissed when I wrote that so it was probly blown out of proportion 😳 But I managed to pull the carpet and seats out today and the carpet is pretty moldy but im not sure if it was like that before. Ether way I was replacing the seats and dying the carpet so this could be the kick in the *ss to do it! Oh and the passenger side of the windshield has a small leak into the glovebox but im fixing that when I replace the dash 8)

Today I got my new PUI seat covers and upper door panels. Now let the fun begin, 1 month until the Monte Nationals. I have to recover the seats, finish the new trans install, charge the new AC, and put some miles on it before the trip.

went to the shop today to finish up a few things waiting on the painter was supposed to show up to thro some color on my car...instead of throwing color on my car he threw his back out instead... :?

well nothin really. i washed it, cleaned the windows, polished the wheels, armorall the tires, and cleaned up some of the chrome under the hood

I put 233 miles on the Monte today, a new one-day personal best. We made the trip to Musclepalooza at Lebanon Valley Dragway and met the editor of Hemmings Muscle Machines. But he had already 'met' my car previously as it was featured in his magazine last year.

i got my 350 running, an the damn thing caught fire, the battery cable touched the header, i didnt see it, an as i was setting the motor i saw flames, talk about shittin in your shorts,lol, but all is good, just burnt the battery cable, shall be fixed tomorrow an hopefully tearing up the streets

I put a coat of wax on the '81. I realized it was kind of a futile effort as I knocked away cancer from the passenger side drip rail. I removed some tattered In-n-out decals from the quarter glass. She still cleans up nice,though. I need to run it around the block a few times tomorrow.
