had another good day @ the boneyard... heres what i got....

got the padding from a 4 door cutlass....

these rear seats also came from the same 4 door cutlass

found a chromey for my driver door(sport mirror coming off!

also picked up this blazer console for two reasonss
1. its the color similar to what i want to do to my interior
2. it has a slot for cds change and cup holders!

Pushed it outside today, pulled the 6.0 and 4L60E out and tried putting it in my dad's Astro van. Apparently, the trucks and small truck 60E's are different and will not interchange. Shame we found it out the hard way

changed my spark plugs , cleand carb and rinsed out overflow bottle.... :wink: runs like a champ

I don't think it's a POS....looks fine to me and I'd drive the fool out of it too!

Put headliner back in after I put new fabric on it. Put all the internal trim pieces back in and took it for a good ride. Nowhere in particular, just a good 30-45 min ride. Real head turner. I love it.

Put a new carb on the El Camino and roasted the hell out of the bald *ss tires it has on it.
