Finally ready to drop the body back onto the frame after two years. Next weekend can't come soon enough!

LOL! I hear ya but I already took the wife to Cancun this year so that burnt a few, couple of long weekends this summer, then it's hunting season so they go quick!

Bought a new heater control valve. Mine was steadily dripdripdripdripdripdriping at the grocery store. Also my dad cooked up some kickass steak. We're a charcoal family (Hank Hill be damned) and for Christmas my dad got a thin plastic/rubber-like grille matt. Cooks the meat perfect every time, evenly. It's awesome. Touch it to the grille for the marks and off ya go.

More tedious wire looming and wire shortening on the TBI project. That premade harness keeps looking better and better.

Did same on my Malibu project. How much do you think this will help?
Rodney, the rear upgrade works very well. The car stops more level now instead of looking for ants in the road. I had a slow speed panic stop last week, and the rears actually locked before the fronts. I don't have them adjusted very tight, either (see burnout video in Pig thread).

I drove it. As in, on the road, not in the yard or the pasture.

As of today, amigos, the number of registered and insured G-bodies prowling the highways instead of cluttering up yards and garages and keeping jackstands anchored has increased by one!

Still have a million and one things to take care of on this car, and in the back of my mind I know an engine and trans that sat for ten-plus years can let go at any time, but today was very encouraging. I was beginning to think I would never get these f****ng brakes bled right.

And yeah, I know, I need to get my wife to shave the back of my neck. 🙂
