Dropped off hardware at plater's and ordered more more sanding/filing/glazing products.

Took the trans pan off to let it dry out inside before I change out the shift solenoids and internal wiring harness. Hope this fixes it.

Got bored, decided I no longer wanted that big dumpy lookin power steering bracket from the V6 anymore. So, I used a spare 350 buick bracket I had, sacrificed some Chinesium spark plug sockets (rubbers removed, 😛) until I can get some spacers made up, and bolted 'er up. Looks good, a lot less cluttered. Still used the same belt as well. 3rd pic is the old bracket.

Drove the '82 to and from work as usual and finally brought home the '85.

Ok, brought it to work. Hope the boss doesn't mind. Tomorrow, check wires, toss a battery in it, clean out the mouse condo and see if it will fire up. Then it's swap out the water pump and decide where to go from there.

Can't see it from the pictures, but the "new" tan one definitely sits straighter then my old one. I just hope the frame isn't as bad as the rocker panels.

I shampooed the coffee out of the carpet and a greasy handprint off the headrest.

started on my front suspension and brake rebuild last night. broke the lower shock mounting clip so i couldnt remove the shock or get to it to just the bolt so i ended up dropping the lower A arm since I needed to pull it anyways to replace with new. even with coil spring compressors, it was a little harry because i couldnt get all the tension off the lower arm. few curse words and thrown tools and its finally apart. gonna clean the frame and remove the old brake lines tonight.

Ordered a set of cooper cobras. 3 showed up, one was badly damaged. Bet money on it was stuck on one of the rollers or a conveyor belt. It had to be on there for anywhere from 20 minutes to almost an hour for it to do that much damage. I could poke my finger through the sidewall if I wanted to. Summit is sending me a new tire. Stupid *ss UPS. The last one is still MIA. For some reason, it's lagging behind the other 3. came in at 5:57 this morning, not even on a truck to be delivered yet at... 3pm.

Got my shocks installed today. There was a mail in rebait on KYB shocks last month so I went ahead and bought some.

While I was doing the rear, I replaced the old lower control arms with some new ones.
