Got the missing pulley fixed and everything back together. Cranked it over, no vroom. Knocked on the gas tank, sounds empty even though the gauge says full. Problem for another day.
Put maybe 3/4 gallon of gas in the tank and some in the carb. Sputtered, finally fired and got fuel in the filter. Stalled out to look and heard the sound of something pouring on the ground. Two gas leaks. Front and back. Rubber line in the rear split, metal end up front where it leaves the frame came of in my hand.
But at least it ran.

Cleaning up for rally this weekend. Details to take care of so El C is smiling on poker run. Not a contestant against the trailer queens but I don't care. Nice ride that has to drive 3 miles of Georgia clay road whenever I decide to go

Got the Bonneville back on the road! Everything is good although It does have a little antifreeze leak. Looks like a freezeplug by the starter. Dang! Didn't really think about it being a used engine that was running without issues before. So I started Jan.. 15th and did a total transformation including a frame off. (not planned). It runs well and feels tight. Put my wheels on tomorrow and will post some pics.
