What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Slide? Haha, uh, it weighs about 2k pounds so I haven't been able to easily slide it. I was lamost thinking of Jack the body up on side just to take some weight off then push on the other. But when you're only trying to move a 1/4" that gets tough.
I meant with a prybar. The ability to use tools is what separates us from the primates.😉
Also, make sure there isn't anything binding to keep it from moving (bumpers, etc..). I had to do it on my red car, and it wasn't too bad. Here's an idea: get a short piece of pipe whose diameter is such that spans the distance from the wheel plus what you want it to move, put it on the side that's close, and roll it with the wheel between the inside of the tire and the wheelhouse pinch weld.

Cleaned and polished the ratty 15 year old pulleys that were on a project I stripped a couple years ago so they could go on the new 355 for the Regal.

I finally got around to properly timing the car. Had to pull apart and rework the distributor, wouldnt line up with the points at TDC. Tuned the carb a bit too. And realigned my pulleys. Can’t wait to order the March serpentine kit though. And fixed some of the wiring. Going to be pulling the power train this fall and re doing everything. Possibly going LS1 swap. Found one for $550.

Painted my new air cleaner thanks to Rocketman.

Also painted some valve covers I picked up at a local swap meet.

I installed the rev kit in the 355 and test fit the headers for spark plug and wire clearance.

Guess I'm dumb. What's a "rev kit"?
The "rev kit" is designed to increase engine RPM and prolong roller tappet bearing life by pre-loading the roller tappets to the cam lobe
The pre-load springs are held in place by lightweight aluminum retaining bars (purple) which install beneath the cylinder head and has aluminum spring cups that sit on top of the lifter.
Rev kits also keep the lifters in the their bore in case of a failure which is the main reason I installed it plus I already had the kit sitting here from a previous project.

I learned something new. Thanks for taking the time to explain that. Engine looks great, by the way.
