Finished welding, painting and installling headers. Reclocked my Astro van steering shaft and installed it along with my 2.5 turn steering box. Cleaned and painted my solid 32mm front sway bar. Started installing lower control arms.

dropped the fuel tank and worked on finishing up the fuel system ( some idiot left alot of fuel in the tank..😡)....removed the brake and clutch pedal assembly so I could finish making the firewall doubler and to set up the pushrod for the manual MC.....and had a few beer....

I welded in 12mm hardened washers and the factory hardware still fits. Once I get the car to ride height I can set the final caster, camber and toe
Because racecar. Doing this gains caster which aids in cornering which is a must for autocross. I’m also putting taller ball joints and full adjustable upper arms. This allows the tires to be flat on the pavement when loaded in a turn

I give the old girl some love. Put some glaze on the paint and buffed it out some. Polished the rims too. Then I took it to a free car show three miles from home.
Didn't win anything, but did not expect too! The same nicely restored muscle cars always win every thing. My car is the basterd child. 1980 Monte Carlo, six cylinder, and a turbo. They do not like that stuff, but I do.
