it's not a bad kit for the $$, but if you're not running the specific headers/crossmember, be prepared to have to modify it a bit. I had to cut and weld a couple times so the bends would be where I needed them, mainly from the different long tube headers that were already on the car. the mufflers are fairly quiet at first, but then again, I've only got about 120 miles on them, and I turned them for the quieter direction ( I leave the house at 5am, and I like my neighbors ).

Big *ss 6x9s in the parcel shelf. Does it sound loud? Yep. Being stubborn and mounting them from the top does it look cool? Yep. Is it terrible and causes you regret from frustration and hoping you didn’t compromise the integrity of the car? Yep. I’m not sure how well this plan was thought through but just like when you’re in a hole or in a slide keep the pedal down and hope you come out the other side. Pictures of my large mistake of to come on my project thread don’t judge it is likely going to look bad and work even worse.

Cautionary tale folks. If it seems like a good idea at the time it most certainly is not.

Went to the Mecum auction in Denver, there was a 11,000 mile 80 turbo Monte that was a no sale at 10K

Salvaged & saved a junkyard steel hard line for the brake booster. Didn't think the kink was going to come out whe I straighten it out to bend a new one. Cleaned it, a good coat of clear just near the nut to the barbed end for some protection. Bet I can't unkink another steel line as long as I live.

Definitely wish I could unkink steel that would be a good skill or luck to have
