it's not a bad kit for the $$, but if you're not running the specific headers/crossmember, be prepared to have to modify it a bit. I had to cut and weld a couple times so the bends would be where I needed them, mainly from the different long tube headers that were already on the car. the mufflers are fairly quiet at first, but then again, I've only got about 120 miles on them, and I turned them for the quieter direction ( I leave the house at 5am, and I like my neighbors ).put the exhaust parts that fell off back on.
really gotta get that jegs kit and put my cross member in.
i leave at 2pm, and dont give a damn about my neighbors. 😀it's not a bad kit for the $$, but if you're not running the specific headers/crossmember, be prepared to have to modify it a bit. Still not an intercooled GN so no love for a really nice car. I am liking the interior.Went to the Mecum auction in Denver, there was a 11,000 mile 80 turbo Monte that was a no sale at 10K
Salvaged & saved a junkyard steel hard line for the brake booster. Didn't think the kink was going to come out whe I straighten it out to bend a new one. Cleaned it, a good coat of clear just near the nut to the barbed end for some protection. Bet I can't unkink another steel line as long as I live.
