Soooo.... let’s say hypothetically a friend accidentally cut through a portion of the package tray but some of it was still connected. How bad would this friends structural integrity be affected? And what is the importance of the strength and rigidity of the package tray? [emoji15]

Looks like somebody is getting AC installed.

Didn't work on mine but got to see John Dodson's Malibu

I once filled up on E85 next to that guy on Drag Week. Just sayin'... 😉

Still not an intercooled GN so no love for a really nice car. I am liking the interior.
Really nice car, even still had the little Turbo badge with the bowtie on the dash. Undercarriage was clean too. I wonder what the number was for a sale, there's a 10% commission, so the seller obviously felt 9K in his pocket wasn't enough. Where you gonna find another one?

Started with this

Put the heater box in. Ran the harness inside the cab. Hung two doors.

Put the steering column and intermediate shaft on. Booster and master cylinder. Brake and gas pedal. Also installed the dash.

Wiring the dash was a pain since it was a while since it was taken apart.

Feel like I got something accomplished this weekend!

You have a clean dash......The hard part is done,

Those pictures don't show the cracks in the top, but for a 40 year old dash I guess it's not to bad!

Snagged the tail lights and window trim off of this bad boy today, took me 3hrs to drive down to where the car was! Car wasn't too bad; but sadly is getting parted out despite being a real vin 9 1987 442. https://cosprings.craigslist.org/pts/d/divide-1987-olds-442-parts-car/6932359990.html Oddly enough the car is getting parted out by the same guy I bought my 403 from! There was some decent claret interior pieces and body panels; but the eng, trans were long gone and by the time I got down there this morning the rear end had already been sold. This could be a decent body for someone with a rotted out car in the midwest. I'd hate see the body and frame get crushed.
