Came up with a couple gallons of DP90 epoxy primer from work which were getting tossed when they close the warehouse down. To make sure it can't contaminate the environment, the Monte is getting DA'ed and put into primer. At least it's only got it's factory paint t remove...….

It was a lazy rainy day in the shop, so I started cleaning up the cuts from removing my front frame horns, and finishing up the removal of the engine cross member.
I filled the wagon with the busted up bathtub. Drove it to the scrap yard and dumped all 340lbs of that cast iron and got $30 for it. That should be worth a tank of gas at least.
Installed new brake pedal pad from The Parts Place.
Brakes come last. Put your pennies into go, not whoa.
Looked and confirmed that the transmission on the Cutlass will probably die of a quick death if I just swap my new engine in place of the old 307.
