Push nuts?

the bracket is installed to prevent the cylinder from rotating, you still need the retainer. If you are not sure about installing something don't be shy to ask

Alright, Im taking you up on your offer now, and anyone else that would like to assist. How the hell do you get that damn clip back on? Its hard enough not being able to see back there but I was at it for a good hour yesterday and could not get it to sit in the spot and clip in. I tried going one side at a time and then also applying pressure evenly to both sides to get it to slide in and nothing. Any suggestions on tools or otherwise that makes it easier to install?

^^^^^^ beat me to it. The pipe adapter is handy!
C-clamp the wheel cylinder to the backing plate, but start you line connection first. It's a lot easier to start the tube nut while the wheel cylinder is loose. Straighten the clip with needle nose, and use the points to push it in.

HA I have that same adapter in my toolbox for that
