Took out my jounce bars and hit them with a wire wheel. Sprayed some basic black on them and the Grand Prix bar I had as well as the knuckles for my Blazer upgrade.

Also installed the new parking lights I had laying around for the past year. What a pain in the *ss, those screws that hold them in are difficult to get to. And torx head to boot. I’m not sure if they came factory like that or if previous owner was a hack but it is what it is. Only had the drivers side anyways so adding both was nice. I used 7mm hex head screws when replacing them. What a difference 33 years makes compared to new.

Had the Malibu Running somewhat today. At first it wanted to start, with some Sea foam in the tank and a little fuel along with some coaxing the carburetor a few more times with fuel as well, it finally started up but with full throttle open at first. Let it sit for awhile sprayed on more carb cleaner with another later start up with petal to the floor it ran, it smoked a little for a time and after some petal play it idled on its own. But the idle is very rough, from what I can tell for now at least it's running on its own fuel: what little fuel I have in the tank anyway. Just went out to start it up again, and it did fire right up, idle is still very rough, feels like the pistons want to fly through the engine the way it's bumbling and rumbling about. I definitely need to get some more Coolant in radiator before even trying to get the Malibu warmed up for the Sea Foam spray. I also need to bleed the Brakes before even attempting to run it on my road as right now she's on the Emergency brake.

Since I have been on a bit of a wiper kick anyway, I decided to replace a broken washer squirter and get my wipers to actually park instead of hanging up on the metal trim piece. Apparently, the adjustment nuts had worked loose and allowed the wipers to shift.

Agree with that.

WTH is Seafoam supposed to do anyway? Guy at work dumps it in everything, I'm just not sure what he's trying to "fix" with it.
