What Did You Do To Your G-Body Today? [2022]

I wonder if I fried my temp gauge. With it barfing the coolant out and pegging the gauge all the way around, I doubt it's reading right anymore. It said it was at 230, but no overflow percolating, I could hold my hand on the hoses, radiator was lukewarm at best, etc.
I'll check with my laser thermometer after work.

I can tell you what I DID NOT do today, change the freaking belts on my Regal.

I thought that I liked to work on cars until I met the V-belt system on a Oldsmobile 350 rocket. I'd GLADLY pay someone $100 to do this nonsense. My Chevy engines never treated me like this.
I'll do it for $80 but you'll need to throw in food, lodging and round trip air fair.

Stopped at the shop today to see the progress of the Engine Swap. The Transmission is out along with Radiator, and Exhaust (or what little exhaust pipe there was), I need to buy a complete Exhaust pipe system for the 305. For now the 229 V6 is sitting loosely in place. Slowly but surely the engine is coming out.
