What Did You Do To Your G-Body Today? [2023]

There used to be small roller tipped glass bottles that you could fill with a mix of paint and a little thinner and then roll on to a panel to fill/recoat a scratch or tear in the finish. For under your trim that would be useful because you would not need to feather in the new material to match the edges.

Did nothing. Looked for spare parts and pieces, mostly struck out.

Found a great parts heap here

SS with all the hard to get bits, uncracked dash, Lauren Engineering gfx it looks like? Not a bad price for what's there if someone needed the parts.... except it's in Michigan

Hung my electric fans, and put 1/2 the coolant hose on… spent most of the evening cleaning the garage and drinking beer

Got the word yesterday the transmission is done, so will be staying tonight to see if we can get it together to take to Cars N Coffee tomorrow

Welp got the ol girl up on the lift to pull the pan and it was worst case..... time for a rebuild right before the season starts. Was really hoping that wouldn't be the case especially with the GTO also needing transmission work. The last place we used that we didn't love cause we ended up having to send the whole car down there for them to get the transmission right said 800/900 if we pull the transmission and 1100 or so if they have to and around 2 weeks. Gonna call around a couple other places to see where they are at on price and time, I guess gonna make the most of it and it replace the rear main seal and get a new oil pan since they both had some leaking

I feel your pain. I’m replacing the TH350 in my Malibu now with a TH400. It’s been down for a while. After getting the BS run around from TCI, I finally located a TH400 and got to to my builder. And pulled the TH350 yesterday.
