HUH. With your permission, I am going to print off these shots because now I will have to slither back under the Monte and see how I have my pipes emplaced. That bit of activity has to happen anyway because the rear exhaust dumps have still to be hung and teased into position.

May is already a write off; the advance warning on the shift schedules came out today and i am in for three weeks straight.

Nick
Print away. Maybe you have smaller mufflers which won't affect anything.

"The connector melted inside the tank"? And you are still here to inform us of this?!?!?!? Say a prayer of Thanks to the Deity of your choice as i would have thought that an electrical short inside a gas tank would have caused an instant "KA-BOOM!

Was it an electrical short or was the plastic susceptible to melting from being exposed to what passes for gas nowadays?

Nick
It was original's 4,3 liter v6 fi fuel sending unit and it did not handle bigger current with new walbro pump. Surpsised me too that nothing else happened, probably it just warmed and then let go, no spark. Now the wires comes straight out from tank, no connector inside, forgot to take a photo

Couldn't print them like I wanted; the printer is on strike for more ink!! So I copied them to file and can pull the print from that. Great Tech to have as a reference. Thanks Again!!

Got some good news on the braces clearing the mufflers. I dropped the hanger on the passenger side & it dropped enough for the needed clearance. Now I do have to order a new set unless I can find the cut off sections in the stainless scrap & use them as extentions if they're long enough.

Managed to replace the broken vacuum fitting in my vacuum ball and bought the correct vacuum check valve/tee fitting to hook it back up to the cruise control actuator.

So messed with the headlight a little since I couldn't get it to come out, ended up lodging it in for the time being but by the end of the day it was loose again. This time with the spring off so I hope to be able to get it out and reconnect the adjusters to keep it place. But man thats tough to do in such little space. Anyways, took it out yesterday for the first Cars N'at. Had some good fun driving out to the show and then took it to get something to eat after
