I want a damn tbss so bad! With 4 kids we needed something a little bigger. We had an 02 Tahoe before and I loved it but not enough. When I went looking for the next family hauler I new I want an Escalade for the 6.2 and decided on an ESV for the space.

Durango SRT is my new hi-po SUV love - seats 6, runs 12.9.

Well l clipped the right side of the urethane bumper of my Camaro over winter storage so it's a good excuse to repaint the whole car an get even more gloss look. Been spending all my spare time sanding for it. View attachment 112929 Pic is of last year before l clipped it.

I sure hope Ontario keeps the plan going to get rid of the front licence plate, that plate ruins the look of the car....

More daily bomber maintenance on the rainier.

I've put 70k on it and never changed the rear diff fluid. 250k seems like a good time to change the fluid. Didn't know if a decel vibration was the gears, bearings or what so I thought I would give myself some piece of mind and change the fluid. Was expecting a oily glitter bomb honestly. I didn't know why I never changed fluid before since I know I changed the t-case fluid and trans fluid when I bought it.

Turns out I probably wanted to change it but couldn't because the fill plug was half stripped out. Took the welder out, welded a nut on and the plug came out. Changed gasket (had to buy one). I had an 8.6 gasket since all v8 and long wheel base gmt360 chassis are supposed to get the 8.6 full size pickup/suv axle. Basically like the 7.5/8.5 thing with G bodies. Turns out I had the 8.0 small differential in mine??? Either the factory installed the wrong part, or it was replaced with a salvage yard part early in its life, or people are wrong and the rear axle could be the small 8.0" in a v8.

Good news is the fluid was clean so no differential rebuilds in my future on this.

Changed the oil and filter in the truck and hosed it off yesterday. Stepped outside this morning and it's already covered in pollen and sh*t from the trees again. I can't wait for that junk to stop falling.

Necessity required that I fix the remaining cab corner today and change the last 2 tires so all 4 treads match. Lucky for us there is too much work ATM so I am putting 2 guys on my truck tomorrow so it " ahem " needs to 100% look the part of the road legal vehicle it is :)
Really weird feeling setting up a truck for someone else to work and make me money while I sit behind a desk at work.... not a problem with this feeling but just one I am not used to in this new line of work.
