I put Lexi's Camaro on the lift at work tonight. Put the new upper ball joints in it. Couldn't drive it home because the tie rod ends look like there going to fall apart. The new ones are coming but then and the brakes I ordered won't be here until tomorrow. I did put a new belt on it tonight because the old one was shot. All this is just to make sure my daughter's first car is safe and reliable. Just wish I could get it done faster to fix my own vehicle.

Great progress for a weeknight! Just keep plugging away.

replaced the window seals on the daughters Civic. lot easier than I thought it would be. every youtube video shows they all disintegrate the same way, within 5 yrs of being sold new.

Built in sales
factory replacement parts from the dealership were also a lot cheaper than I would have thought they'd charge. probably half of what GM would charge

Welcome to my world. I am maintaining 8 cars, only 3 are mine. Guess which ones are continually crapping out? What would they do without Dad's Garage?!?

Maybe a torn ligament, that's what popped in my ankle. If so, gonna have stability issues for a while. May have also torn up the cartilage like me and end up needing surgery(ies?) like me. I just got a referral off base to see what's the latest on mine, likely in it for surgery #4 and I didn't sell much at all.

Sounds like a long summer of not much fun😓. Hopefully you have help getting around. With luck it stays with the quickest way to heal.
Whelp, initial verdict is in...

Now one of these things is not like the other:

In order we've got a couple hyper extended/torn muscles in the calf, a couple torn tendons leading to grade 3 sprain, and for good measure, a broken ankle bone plus a tendon with a fragment of bone it pulled free with it as your icing on top. Achilles however, was not ruptured so I guess I failed the extra credit portion of the exercise.

We don't do things half arsed around here let me tell y'all that. We do it, we do it all the way!

This throws serious complications into the new england trip, however.
