More kick to the nuts, Allstate wants me to do a power of attorney now when I don't have a title since the bank owns it. Then no instant pay since the truck was in both the wife's & my names. Be 1 to 2 buisness weeks before I'll have money in hand! Then no contact with the bank, only what I got started. Everything else I've delt with in the past was a on site printed check. Need new ride but no one is going to hold a truck until I get that money. I'm glad this is the end with them.
Liking your done with them, the rest.... well, it's a pile of BS. No higher-up that can help you out on the hardship angle? It's not like they don't know what the amount they owe you is. Did you try offering them to deposit into an account that has both your name and your wife's on the account and ask if that'd make a difference ?

Redirect the venom at Toyota, the rightful target of hatred.
My lil’ taco did good pulling what it did through the hills of NH! One car trailer w/ about 10-11,000lbs of excavator parts!😁

Just remembered something: if you can pay the truck off tomorrow, they'll cut you the check sooner. Not sure if you have the means to loan yourself that much money or not.

The story I was told is that they don't know we are still together & if we would of been seperating she would be entitled to half & Allstate doesn't want to deal with it. The adjuster never gave a straight answer on how fast a check will be sent. As for the account we have a joint checking & savings so who else would be out of that loop? I want to make sure I don't have an extra loan out there when I get the credit union to OK the new loan but they should of had it done this moring as I gave all needed info yesterday. If I knew this was going to be what a totaled claim was going to be I would of rolled with the three month wait cause I might still have to get a quick (over priced) beater. They have the truck at a Copart yard already. Hell, they sent an email @ 8:00 PM EST saying there wasn't a loan on the truck but again they had that info for the bank yesterday.

Wish I could as we started to work on getting a contractor for the house roof before the buck jumped into the truck.

I'm glad for you. Truly. I still despise Toyota. It's a Hatfields and McCoy's thing.

it's an '02 Deville with the split system. the pass side was cooling to 50* (95* outside temp), and the driver's side was only at 72*... pulled dash after failed attempt with a snake camera. pulled fan motor and attempted to scope from that side, with no evidence of blockage. the heater box assy is coming out for full inspection after the new evap core arrives (no way I'm putting the old one back in just to find that it's a blockage) ...

was thinking that as soon as he stated he was waiting to see it at the junkyard... bought my wife's Jeep Patriot there...
There was a time in my life I went to the copart on 9w in new York every Thursday.
