What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2022]

26 gauge body panels?!?! That is about one stage thicker than paper!!! Not sure if even my MIller Multi-matic could work with that and I have used it to weld rust to air!!

As for aluminum, around here the winter streets are liberally coated with a mixture of salt/sand and brine. All so that the city has a recourse at law when some idiot tries to speed on glare ice in the middle of a snow storm and wraps his/her/? Prius around a hydro pole.

Body bolts in a place that is a pain?

That is the reason I learned to tune my own stuff, only 2 guys were in the area and I didn't feel like dealing with them.
Yes the 2 center cage nuts broke out so I had help and got them out threw the floor. There not hard to do I just can't be in the truck and under it at the same time. I now have the ez-link app in my phone so tomorrow I become a programmer I guess.

Ok guys everything is done except for the center 2cab bolts the upper bumper cover and the fender liners.
The bolts didn't get done because no one showed up to help the front cover didn't go on because I need to come up with a horn and install it the liners didn't go in because I'm getting lazy and need a brake. LoL I modified the inside of the right fender and the air box for air flow.

And need a horn

Now I was told this thing should run even with the wrong tune but it doesn't and I don't know if I'm just nervous but I think I hear a ticking noise when it's cranking. I hope I'm wrong. I really wish someone would look at this thing besides me I haven't got a clue. I think I did everything right I just don't know.

If I was there I'd help you, I get it, been there.

I see train horns are mentioned. A long time ago, like 10 years ago, I put them on what some would call my inedaquate 3/4 ton truck. Maybe I'm ahead of the curve like normal. 🙂
These are absolute fun, helps when pulling a trailer for the clowns that pull out infront of you, air powered train horns are awesome.

I'd be happy with anything I find as long as it fits in the hole
