What did you do to your non-G body project today? [2022]

No wonder folks drop it out the bottom. I was trying to avoid an alignment, the car works well as is and doing it manually is a ton of work.
As many as I did out of the bottom they lined right back up on the pins and never needed an alignment after.

Colorado: nondescript oil leak.

Been tracking some parts that FedEx was supposed to deliver today. Apparently they decided the fastest way to Pittsburgh PA from Indianapolis IN was to go through Nashville TN and then to St. Louis MO.

Who knows where they might take it to next? Tune in again tomorrow night on "Where in the f*ck are my car parts now?" Brought to you by FedEx.

I've traced a shipment (10 lug nuts) from Dallas (I'm 2 hrs south of Dallas) to Louisville, to Little Rock to Hewlett TX (I'm 30 min south of Hewitt) to my house. I could have driven to Dallas and got the parts in half a day! I flew from Amsterdam over Detroit (I lived in Detroit) to Dallas changed plane then flew to Detroit. They could have thrown me out the door as we flew over Detroit

They still have to make the left turn in Albuquerque so it can over shoot our area to be out for delivery in Philly before you can get them.

Today I ran the heads from the engine out to the machine shop, also took the shortblock. He checked the deck for me to rule that out and confirmed what I was seeing on the head gaskets that they were fine. He's going to pressure check the heads and hopefully find something. I shined a light down all 8 holes at BDC and didn't see any cracks. I also hit the deck with a razor blade and chased all the head bolt holes. Just need to yank the dowels and hit it with some 320 grit tomorrow. Then I'll be on the fence whether or not to toss these guys on.

But before the motor goes back in, I want to clean and paint the engine bay. It's looked like *ss since I bought the car and the core support is a GM replacement that was never painted red. My extra tubs look soooooo much nicer under the hood.

GBF add: For reference the Camaro started pushing water out of the cooling system this year and that sometimes led to overheating. Barr's leak seemed to calm it down, so I'm on the hunt for the root cause now.

Fed Ex is the worst, I've seen them send stuff from Ohio to Kentucky and back for us lucky Pittsburgh people. Then the real kicker is last week we got a delivery from them, when the driver backed up to leave he smacked our low boy trailer hard enough to get stuck on it and not be able to pull away for a bit. Once he got off he just drove off without telling anyone. So a few days later I notice the glad hands broke off the trailer and it got knocked off the wood block holding it up, had to go back on the cameras to find it. Now like pulling teeth trying to get information over to get it taken care of
