You're right. That's better than winter.

I like having 4-6 months to wrench in comfort. I don't see that as an option for half the year in Arizona or Florida or the like where they have crippling heat and humidity... unless you have a climate controlled garage (and AC/humidity control is way more costly than minimal heat).

They have 6-8 months as long as you have shade. Cuba was just about right from late September to early May and its a tad warmer than florida.

Plumbing.

I hate working on house stuff......

Wife was watching friends dogs when they were on vacation and I was in St Louis for the weekend
She gave one of the dogs a bath in the tub (It smelt and decided it needed to mark its territory in the basement, dog is not invited back)
The hair plugged the drain
Pulled the drain stop in the tub, pulled out a decent amount of hair, drain still plugged
Pulled the P trap (easy because the drywall is taken out below the upstairs bathroom for the downstairs remodel), nothing plugging it, perfectly clean
Tried roto-rooting the cast iron drain going horizontal from the tub to the vertical line, bends are too sharp to get the rooto rooter head through there
Tried Drano, didn't work
Trying to get the 1 1/2" cast iron plug out for the cleanout
Put 1/2" breaker bar on with 4ft cheater bar, no go
Ran air hose from garage into basement, try 1/2 air impact with 650 ftlbs, no go
Tried heating with propane torch and trying impact and breaker bar again, still nothing, seized solid
Bought a new can of O2 for the MAP gas torch, got the fittings heated up to 800F, hit with penetrating oil and wax, tried the breaker bar again and rounded the square drive off the plug, breaker bar slipped off the plug, went into the cheater bar, and landed on the edge of the brand new tub we JUST installed and left a quarter sized dent in the fiberglass

Ugh... It's not as bad as Joe's main line backup but sill.....

Exactly. Last few weeks it's been high 20's-low 30's in the morning, 50-70 in the day. Today it's low 70's and feels pretty good out.

I'll take some swampass and sweating in the summer with the excitement of possible storms coming in that we have a good lead time on over damn cold and snow.

March to early October it's tourist season. That's the biggest thing about here I absolutely loathe.🖕

Went ape sh*t on the plug and plunged my grinder blade into the square drive and then took a sawzall and cut the plug in half from the inside. Was able to slightly shrink the diameter which broke whatever was holding it.

Stuck a shopvac down the pipe and got a big hair ball. Drains good now.

Sweet victory.

Need some help from you trailblazer/envoy guys. I haven't had working climate control in my 06 LT for prolly 3 weeks now. Was on my way to work when the whole system just shut down. Been working 60-65hrs/week driving so its been tough working on it. I've been troubleshooting like crazy and still haven't found a solution. The climate control has power, but nothing on the digital display. So far I've done the following to no avail. If anyone has any ideas I'd greatly appreciate it. The list:
Checked all fuses and relays, swapped relays just to be sure.
Checked power to control unit with ign off and on and all is fine.
Swapped control unit from junkyard just to check...no bueno.
Swapped spare blower motor resistor and blower motor....no bueno.
Changed thermostat today because had a CEL for it. That fixed coolant issue but not heat.
Checked ambient temp sensor...no bueno.
Had battery out today while doing thermostat, reset everything and no bueno.
Bought and installed new climate control unit just to be sure, returned because it didn't fix issue.

I have looked and looked and looked on the web for an answer and haven't had any luck yet. This is what it looks like when driving....

Thanks in advance guys, truly appreciate any help.
