Going to try to weld it back together tomorrow or Tuesday, and plate it on Friday.

Got the crack and a couple of plates hot glued in and it’s looks just as bad as I thought it’d be. Hopefully it holds until Friday.

The frame in this area is way worse than I thought it was a couple of months ago.

Although dropping the fuel tank isn’t going to be half as hard as it should be, since one of the straps is already broken 🤣

Well it was yesterday but I fell asleep when we got home so here it is.
My oldest daughter is finally getting her license so I cut a deal to get her a car. She only had $1000 USD so her mother put up another $1000usd now we all know in today's market that ain't nothing for a good car. But I know a guy so I set this up. At a friend's shop there was a 35th anniversary Camaro under 100k clean T-top car well there around 35-8k like that around here so I cut a deal! 2G and I paint the bed on a silver Ford dually and paint the right front door off for a blue Ford crew cab. Voila! My daughter Lexi's first car

i think its a good deal for a cool first car.

Just imagine the memories she could make with the 454 though?

All you need to do is watch for total losses coming through the shop, and pay an owner $20 to let you mount/dismount the tires over onto her rear wheels. Cheap endless supply of smiles to last a lifetime....
