Just imagine the memories she could make with the 454 though?

All you need to do is watch for total losses coming through the shop, and pay an owner $20 to let you mount/dismount the tires over onto her rear wheels. Cheap endless supply of smiles to last a lifetime....
Lexi isn't even interested in cars she's 20 years old and just getting her license she would have been fine with a 4cyl Toyota Corolla she probably won't even take off the t tops.

Camaro, Huh? Wonder how it will be before she wants some more go faster or handle better added to it. Planning on volunteering your daughter to help you with the prep sanding prior to taking those shots?

Nick
No I've got a better chance of her little sister helping me with anything. The youngest Lauren is my car girl she's got the Hurst Olds Lexi is good with the stock v6

Push-started my Z06 because the battery had enough juice to turn the engine over just before it wanted to fire. Been a couple weeks since I've driven it, been busy with all kinds of stuff. She mad at me. 🙁

That 'was' my wife around the same age. Had a really crappy 4cyl accord at 19. Last new car she got she wanted a gt mustang, and currently wants an old Cadillac coupe with the 500, not the 472, because it's 'not as good'.....

A little encouragement can go a long ways. She now hates anything 4 door, like me, and doesn't understand why people would ever want them after having had one as her first pos.

My DD is a 2009 Civic 4 Door. I have no kids, so it's absolutely perfect for cargo space and when my mom or friends come into town here we can roll around. Only time 4 doors get used haha I'll take it, my SS and Z06 are the 2 door rides.

P71s are good cars for 4 doors.

When my daughters were in college I gave each a 2nd gen Firebird for commuting. Both cars died horrible deaths. Now they are all grown up and still destroying cars faster than I can fix them. "Daughters are your punishment for all the fun you had in life".

I yanked the water pump on the '00 GYP Cherokee. Look how the impeller was gouging into the housing. When it would jam up the fan belt howled like crazy. It took only four hours and every tool I own to dig down to the 4.0 water pump. I am getting good at these GYPs. I don't remember the brand of pump but I don't go cheap with hard to get at stuff. Have the Chevy back on the road, had to spend time debugging the stalling so far.

Literally was everything you can name. I had to replace lines, pumps, filters and even electrical problems with the alternator.

Theres still a few things I would believe that would help, but for now it works. The foil and having a return line made the vapor lock issue less of a worry.

Also with decent vacuum lines, it idles very nice, other than the mechanical fuel pump that’s still noisy haha.

Elechickened the box for AC today.

Bit the bullet and hired an HVAC contractor to install mini splits in my house. Tried the diy thing but couldn't buy the parts and the markup and labor in the system wasn't that bad.

This electrical box and running wiring was the last to do before they can get the units in.

Had enough with not having AC the last few summers (besides window units). Coulda bought a really nice Omega for what AC costs but basic comfort is worth something!
