Need to get the Porsche gone, some of it is spare parts money for the Malibu. Having everything fixed it developed a problem with the rear body control module kicking up the spoiler and trying to actuate the top, which in turn runs the battery down. Water egress had the module all funky, time to dry it out, try to clean the module, and hope it works. Next step is pay the P tax and order a new module for $480, ugh.

I hope y'all turn a profit on it.

Isn't a 64 riv without a title worth $500?

Yeah hopefully the titling process isn't too arduous but if it comes down to it I'll probably just suffer through. Guy says it has a knock though, if it infact does it's still well worth the trade. It's been on marketplace for a while and the guy just wants it gone.

interior looks ok, engine looks nice (does it run?), sheetmetal is straight , how's the rust?

and he's giving you the Riviera with no title +$500 for a 76 f250? or are you paying him the $500?

Engine has a knock. Has some rust holes and I guess a screwed on body panel. I'd be giving him $500 plus my truck (imo a $3000 value) that's got tons of new parts, brand new 10 ply tires, plus a rebuilt 390 short block should he want it.
I'm checking the car out this Saturday..

So a drivable truck with new parts and tires for a non running car with a rod knock and no title? And you'd be out $500? This is beginning to sound like the start of another Suburban thread... kinda.

That's why I haven't done the deal yet lol
The only thing the truck really has on the riv is hauling stuff and a title. It knocks spurts leaks drips coughs and in general isn't that great. Monetarily it makes sense and is a good deal. Rivs are sought after cars. If it was the dual quad idve done it already.
