exhaust fell off
i guess it wasn't inserted enough onto the y pipe. fixed that.
Checked a plug and repaired a boot to try and solve a warm closed loop idle hunting problem that cropped up recently. My dad has my scanner, so aside from basic stuff i can't do much until i can see what the ecm does.

Priced some tires recently, set of 265/75/16 bridgestone duelers are almost 1200 without my discount, 650 with. I'll either go with those, or destinations. i have experience with duelers on my dad's 96 blazer, hardly ever had to use 4wd. every pickup at my work that has firestone tires has destinations on it.

My truck is a half ton 4x4, it's my winter beater, and i have absolutely no problem getting it absolutely caked in mud and gravel, I even let my fiance go on some level b roads after a big storm. She had a blast. But now that i'm back in the city, im considering the duelers.

Anyone have any experience with either?

I have destination at's on my 15 silverado. I've been happy with them. Not noisy, but get good traction. Don't drive it alot so I can't account for wear, but they seem good so far.

Had a ton of fun this weekend......... snaked it myself for a bit but wasn't successful so I called in the pro's who still couldn't clear it so waiting to hear from them today. The joy of it is the main is across the street which the boro said was dye tested and flushed on Friday to make sure it wasn't that but we went like 50' from my clean out in the basement and then again from the fresh air outside which I would think puts it across the street. But don't see how I could get so much sewage during the day and then be clear at night before I go to bed

Could have a lot of grease in it. Sometimes let's the snake go through it and not really push it. A water jet could push it down the line. Would explain why the liquid would leach through over night during lite use.

Yeah, just had the camera guy call from my house. He said he can't see a lot but what he did see was red (grease like you said) and their normal suggestion would be to attempt that, but could very quickly go south with them shooting 2500/3000 psi at 16 gallons a minute or something. He said he got about 30' from my fresh air and then hit a hard stop, he did say while he was there that they were starting to cut up the street so guess we will see what comes out of it....

Ceramics

Old terracotta tile mortar had lost its stick and the old tile was just floating there.

New stuff!

I am fixing up a 1996 Evinrude 48 hp outboard parts motor . So far I have found a broken head bolt, broken electrical panel mount bolt, cut wires, and lots of other headaches. It's winter, so, have at it. Today I extracted the broken head bolt. Let's hear it for left handed drill bits!!! Some oil, the heat of drilling, and the bit digging in, unscrewed that bolt toot sweet. Nice. That procedure can go wrong so many ways. One down.
