Worshed it.
Took a lot of oxidation off drivers side with some sos pads, and messed around with cleaning the wheels. gMT400 wheels have super thick clear coat that fades very bad and makes the wheels look like sh*t. Gonna get some aircraft stripper, and some abrasive supplies and see how nice I can make em.
Pic of wheels are just by using an SOS pad.

So what did your local sewer and water rats discover once they lifted the overburden and got down to the sewer pipe?? Kind of wondering how old that installation is and what they used for pipe when they did the original install???

Hasn't really got there yet, Roto Rooter came out a second time and tried snaking it again with no luck. They don't have any video cause they say they can't see, but suggest a full dig of my yard to pull the pipe and water jet it then reassess. But again admitted they are 50' out snaking and it is still not clearing the sludge, at that distance to me it puts it at the main or close. Problem is where I am is that my responsibility goes across a pretty main road for the area before it hits the main, so if there is a problem far out but before the main they it gets highly expensive. So gonna be reaching out to a buddy to see what he can come up with, see if we are able to line it if that needs done. But from what I have been told I have old clay pipe out there so bellies and other issues are considered normal for them

If you could find someone that also did so commercial/industrial work, they might have better luck. Rooter guys around here don't care and are only in it for the paycheck.

Call gillece and there $99 clog crusher! 😂🤣😂🤣

One of the nearby junkyards just got a Lacrosse in the same color as mine so I made a trip out today. I wanted to get a passenger mirror and maybe a front bumper cover, but when I got there, both were worse than the ones I have. I didn't go home empty-handed though. My radio buttons were really worn, and I found a perfect radio in the yard, so I grabbed it. Of course GM has that stupid stereo theftlock (because people are stealing mid-2000s factory GM headunits constantly) so I wound up just swapping the faceplates.

I thought these twin Delta 88s in the yard were pretty cool. First gen 3800s. The one with the vinyl top was actually very solid and except for headliner, the interior was mint. It sucks that it's gonna wind up in the crusher.

Got some crap for the plow truck today. I went mainly for a used/good/cheap battery that wasn't going to leak acid all over the freshly cleaned/painted inner fender, battery tray, and core support.

I also couldn't resist those yellow F*#d injectors. They're supposed to be a drop in for the 454 Vortec with the 4 hole better spray pattern and found the only EV1 set in the yard I think. And a 411, but I still need to pony up for a license for the thing same as I would the blackbox. I don't think the truck gets 20 degrees of advance right now, it's ridiculous. Not that I plan to boost this, but I can keep the TCC locked with a lift off the gas with this PCM.

Fancy. I fixed my radio buttons with magic marker.
