What did you do to your non-G Body project today [2024 edition]

Had to deal with the wife's Santa Fe today cause it started amisfire that freaked her out (all car issues will do this to her). Had her leave at the local park between the house & Jr.'s school (about 3 minute walk from the house). Scanned, found #4 misfiring & then the real fun started. Called AAA to tow it 20 minutes to the Hyundia dealer for it to be warrantied just to find out their dispatching system doesn't know where in western Pa Elderton is located. They kept setting me up with tow companies between Wexford & New Castle that's no where near me. I ask why, suggest a few places closer that works with AAA but kept with no one near wants to take the tow. After a dispatcher in the Pittsburgh location was making sure the national office was sending the nearest cought what was happening corrected but I didn't know until after a heated cancellation call. Retried, same results then I finally talked to the right person who got me local & to me in less than 30 minutes compaired to the 3 to 4 hour wait from places between Wexford & the Ohio state line. The place that did the tow was just a few miles down the road from the dealer & had all their trucks just sitting at the yard. This seems like a day I should of never quit drinking.

Today being a national holiday, nothing useful was open except the drug stores. So no idea if my back ordered transmission pan gasket or ARP bolts have come in. Will have to deal with the new hinge parts for the tailgate on my S-10 on Tuesday. Also have to start moving scrap out to the S-10 for transfer to the scrap yard. I might just have enough weight on hand to pay for the gas to get there.

Took the k1500 to the tire shop for a free patch and rebalance.

Irritated last time the tech put a sh*t ton if weights on the rear passenger wheel wrongly.

Had to post in this so I get notifications, lol. I'll be wrenching MORE on our 55 Chevy 210 Prostreet here soon to get ready for Power Tour 2024. I'll be shooting a ton of video for my YT channel as well. We've already did a Silver Sport Transmission TKX 5 speed swap, coilovers in the fronts, adjustable shocks in the rear, upgraded the rockers, added n2o, new exhaust and Spintech SS9K mufflers, and too many other thing I can't think of right now.

Took advantage of the nice weather after picking up a new to me mower and drove around for a while then grabbed dinner down the strip district

The 55 Chevy made it to the mountain garage from Jersey, 175 miles, the most its ever been driven in one stretch. The trip was mostly uneventful, the gas gauge stopped working, the fuel cell sender is crappy, and the rear started howling, ughh! Not what we need right now. Oh, and the taillights are so dim you can barely see them, good thing I was chasing it with my truck or I swear he would have been rear ended.
